From Caboose, head east on South Western Road. Cross the level crossing and continue into the city centre.

Turn right at the junction and head towards the Market Square. Lock bikes at the rack near the Poultry Cross.

From Market Square, cycle south on Catherine Street towards the Cathedral gates. Enter through the North Gate on foot with bikes.

Walk your bike around Cathedral Close — the largest in England. Visit the Cathedral if you wish (entry charge applies).

Exit Cathedral Close via the South Gate. Cross the water meadows path and head west along the river.

Follow the riverside path through Harnham Water Meadows. The view of the Cathedral spire from here is iconic.

Continue through Harnham and return north on Harnham Road back to Caboose. Route complete!

⛪ Salisbury Cathedral
The tallest cathedral spire in the UK at 123m. Home to one of only four surviving original copies of Magna Carta.
🏛️ Salisbury Market
One of England's oldest markets, held every Tuesday and Saturday. Stalls selling fresh produce and local food.
🌊 Harnham Water Meadows
John Constable painted many of his famous Cathedral views from these water meadows in the early 19th century.
📜 Magna Carta, Chapter House
See one of only four surviving 1215 Magna Carta documents, on display in the Cathedral Chapter House.
