Adult Gravel Bike
Ideal for greater distances – gravel bikes are efficient on roads yet capable on off-road sections. Drop-bars give multiple hand positions for comfortable long rides, and are a step up from a standard mountain bike.
Kids 20” Bike — Age 4–7
Suitable for children aged approximately 4–7 who don't need stabilisers. Quality aluminium bikes with easy-to-use simple gears and smooth, powerful brakes – ideal for the Avon Valley trail.
Kids 24” Bike — Age 7–10
Suitable for children aged approximately 7–10 – the last step before an adult bike. We use quality aluminium Frog bikes, designed specifically for an encouraging and enjoyable riding experience.

Adult gravel bike hire starts from £12 for a half day (up to 4 hours) or £20 for a full day. Kids bikes (age 4–7 and 7–10) are from £10 half day or £18 full day. A helmet, bike lock, and route map are all included. Only a £5 per bike deposit is required when booking online – the remainder is paid on arrival.
We are at Caboose, 115 South Western Road, Salisbury, SP2 7RR – just two minutes' walk from Salisbury Train Station. Exit the station, turn right, and walk along South Western Road. You'll see Caboose on your right at number 115.
We strongly recommend booking in advance, especially during school holidays, bank holidays, and summer weekends – bikes get booked up quickly. Online booking takes under five minutes and only requires a £5 per bike deposit to secure your slot.
Absolutely – it's our most popular route. The round trip is approximately 36km and takes around 4–5 hours of riding. We recommend a full-day hire (£20 per adult gravel bike). We'll provide a route map and directions. Book your Stonehenge entry in advance via English Heritage.
Yes – every hire includes a correctly fitted cycling helmet at no extra cost. A D-lock bike lock and a curated route map are also included as standard. We insist all riders wear their helmets for the duration of their hire.
We offer Kids 20” bikes (age approx. 4–7) and Kids 24” Frog bikes (age approx. 7–10), from £10 half day or £18 full day. A correctly fitted helmet is always included. If you are unsure which size suits your child, please contact us before booking.
We are open Monday to Sunday, 8:00am to 8:00pm (20:00), every day including bank holidays. Bikes can be picked up from 08:00 and must be returned by 20:00 on the day of your hire.
Free cancellation or rescheduling with at least 48 hours' notice. If you cancel within 48 hours of your hire date the £5 deposit is non-refundable, but we're happy to transfer it to a new date wherever possible.
Yes – we welcome group bookings for families, friends, corporate teams, hen and stag parties, and school groups. Please contact us in advance with the number of bikes and your preferred date. We can mix adult and child bikes in the same booking.

Salisbury has direct trains from London Waterloo (approx. 90 min), Southampton (25 min), and Bristol (75 min) – making us perfect for a car-free day trip.
